Job Description



Dominion Orthodontics is looking to add to our amazing clinical team! This position will primarily be based in our Mechanicsville office.

We're filling a very special role as one of our longtime Orthodontic Assistants prepares for retirement after more than 30 years in the field. We are looking for someone who is excited to join a positive, patient-focused team and continue the exceptional care our patients have come to expect.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist chairside during orthodontic procedures
  • Take impressions and Invisalign scans
  • Perform orthodontic adjustments as permitted by training and state regulations
  • Take X-rays (certification preferred but not required)
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain treatment areas
  • Educate and support patients throughout their treatment
  • Help create an exceptional patient experience from start to finish

Qualifications



While Orthodontic or Dental Assisting experience is preferred, we are also willing to train the right person. If you don't have dental experience but are a quick learner with a great attitude and strong people skills, we encourage you to apply.

Additional Information



Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday
  • Occasional Friday for training, meetings, or certifications
